Before Kurupts artwork for his ‘Streetlights’ album ended up looking like this, I went through some different looks. So this is one of them, this is actually pretty close to the final one, and would have been the final one if I wouldn’t went back to the drawing board and created a whole new look.

This is what happened … and here is the photo:
Anchored is a group out in Dallas, Texas and (re-) released their first album “Listen To This” this year through EMI. I also did the album artwork to that project, anyway, they are back in the studio recording the second album right now. I took the chance to catch up with the band and take this shot. It was in the lounge room of the recording studio, there was basically no space to fit all of them in, but still made it work.
EDIT: They picked up the photo as their main press, website, MySpace, Facebook, whatever photo …
I have absolutely no idea why there is a white tub in the front, maybe its for the house dog? But anyway, I wouldn’t mind living like this. If you like cool architecture and dope houses, make sure you check out CONTEMPORIST.com. This photo is actually not from there.
